Public Safety
Washington County Citizens Academy
I first became interested in public safety after my first computer forensics course at Metro State.
The Washington County Minnesota Citizens Academy was a phenomenal privilege and opportunity to learn through hands-on experience with law enforcement professionals. From touring the county jail, the k9 unit section, a ride-along with an officer, scinarios training, the SWAT team presentation, and Crisis Response Team section, to hands-on firearms safety at the Hero Center, every day was exciting and unforgettable.

Cybersecurity experience competing in the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition. Reverse engineering, cryptography, network reconnaissance, web application security experience participating in various CTFs including the NSA Codebreaker Challenge and US Cyber Games. Incident response experience participating in a cyber attack simulation at the Metro State cyber range.
